The two companion "canvasses," entitled "Summer Quietude," are lacking. Printed on the palette image on the front cover is "genuine Kenro artist oil paints in easy to open screw-top jars."

  One boxed set of paints entitled Bradley's Water Colors: Master Art Tubes, manufactured by the Milton Bradley Company, Springfield, Massachusetts, ca. 1915. The set is comprised of three triangular glass dishes, 9 tubes of paint and several paint brushes. The set is housed within an orange and black- colored paperboard box, with the number "4024" printed below the manufacturer's name. This set has been used; only 3 tubes of paint remain and 4 paint brushes and 1 fragment of a paint brush are in the box. All have been used.

  One boxed paint set entitled Prang Dek-All, manufactured by the American Crayon Company, Sandusky, Ohio and New York, ca. 1935. The subtitle on the box lid reads: "A thermo-setting color for decorating glass, metal, china, plastic and similar surfaces." The set is comprised of 6 bottles of paints, illustrated instructions, a paintbrush and two small wooden sticks for application. The kit is housed within an illustrated paperboard box.

  One boxed set of watercolor paints entitled Superfine Painting Colors, manufacturer unknown, ca. 1880. The set is comprised of 40 rectangular, embossed cakes of watercolor paint, two round porcelain dishes, two paint brushes, and two embossed cakes of charcoal. The set is housed within a wooden box with a sliding lid. The paints are divided into 5 rows of 8 each, and each cake of paint is embossed with an image of a family crest. The lid is not labeled; a label is affixed, however, to the bottom of the paint brush compartment.

The set is comprised of 9 small, rectangular cakes of watercolor paint, 2 very small stone dishes, a color portrait of a lady, and a piece of glass the same size. Each of the cakes of paint are embossed with an image of a crown. The set is housed within a paperboard box. The lid is illustrated with a color image of a rectangular wooden palette, the title, and spots of color.
