Approx. 12 items: LAT clip copies on Griffith's philanthropy (donated the land for vast Griffith Park), his business dealings, an attempt on his wife's life--which is went to prison for--and his eventual work for penal reform. Also included is a chapter (pp. 119-134) from the book, Take the Witness (1934), focusing on Griffith's personal history.
