T2 Testing - Test spans installed at Gould for measurement of elongation under varying conditions of the aluminum conductors prior to use on the Vincent T/L; showing dynamometers mounted in the attachments at the poles to attain desired stresses in the cables, and the counterweights suspended from small cables which were connected to piano wire used for measuring elongation of the conductors. The two tower lines are part of the old Big Creek Transmission system.
