    Brochure "Big Creek Initial Development" (1914) - Pacific Light & Power Corporation - Booklet (8x10) with colorized, panoramic photos, maps, text and illustrations describing the proposed development of hydroelectric power from Big Creek and the San Joaquin River. The initial project includes four dams, two tunnels, two powerhouses, two 240 mile transmission lines, one substation and a 56 mile railroad to the project. A letter written in 1982 by Mrs. Bernell Smith who lived on the project as a child is included with this brochure. In the letter she talks about the primitive housing and how much fun she had living there
