A panoramic view of Los Angeles from the Graphic Arts Building located at 417 East Pico. The view faces mostly north, with the San Gabriel Mountains barely visible in the background. The church with two spires on the far left is St. Joseph's Church, a Gothic structure at the corner of 12th and Los Angeles that burned down in 1983. Most of the buildings in the foreground are two-level houses, apartments, and businesses. Writing in white in lower right corner reads "L.A. from Graphic Art Bldg ; Pico near Maple ; Feb. 10, 1925" and "Pettit's Studio ; 1416 W. Pico ; RI 8534".
