The slides includes images of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts; the rural scenery of New England; murals in the Library of Congress; the Smithsonian Institute; the Washington Monument; the United States Capitol building; the Liberty Bell; an Eskimo mother and her child; gardens; portraits of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Eliza Allen Clark, W. C. Bryant, and James Whitcomb Riley; two Christmas themed scenes; and working men of African and Chinese descent. Identified photographers and/or publishers represented in this collection include the McIntosh Stereopticon Company; Samuel Townsend; L. Manasse; F. Jay Haynes; Max Platz; B. L. Singley; Hawley C.
