  Visual Materials

  A slightly elevated panoramic view of East Los Angeles near the intersection of Atlantic and Whittier. The two main streets are labeled in ms. white writing, with "Atlantic Blvd North" down the center and "Whittier Blvd East" on the right. There is a Richfield service station at the corner, with a miniature golf course behind it. Businesses across the street include California Bank and a Ford dealership. The church with two spires on the far left is St. Joseph's Church, a Gothic structure at the corner of 12th and Los Angeles that burned down in 1983. Most of the buildings in the foreground are two-level houses, apartments, and businesses.
